Rice County Community Foundation Announces 3rd Annual “Unite for Rice County” Match Event

This year, nearly 20 nonprofit organizations across Rice County are participating, offering donors the chance to support causes close to their hearts. Every donation made through the event will be matched up to 50%, thanks to the incredible generosity of the Patterson Family Foundation.

“This event makes giving simple and impactful,” said Joy McBee, Executive Director of the Rice County Community Foundation. “By joining together, we can multiply generosity and ensure that the nonprofits serving our communities have the resources they need to thrive.”

Residents can visit www.uniteforricecounty.org to explore all participating organizations and make their donations. The platform provides an easy way to give to one or multiple charities at a single location— making community giving more convenient than ever.

The Unite for Rice County Match Event not only highlights the spirit of local philanthropy but also demonstrates the power of partnership. Each contribution, no matter the size, helps sustain vital programs, enhance quality of life, and keep Rice County communities strong and vibrant.

YOU ARE INVITED— Rice County Community Foundation will hold an OPEN HOUSE on "Giving Tuesday" December 2, 2025 at our office located in Lyons, just East of the Rice County Courthouse on the square - 110 East Ave. South. Come and go, make your donations in person, and enjoy snack and learn more about the nonprofit organizations.
